What type of Ventilation do I need?
There are multiple forms of ventilation, depending on the type of property you are looking to ventilate, and the level of ventilation required.
Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV)
Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) systems are simply designed to remove stale vapours and unwanted odours from key ‘wet’ areas like bathrooms kitchens or utility rooms, replacing it with fresh air into living areas using pre-installed trickle vents to maximise airflow. MEV systems work consistently using minimal energy to improve the overall quality of the air within a property, and can be boosted via a control panel within the fan storage facility.
Using an MEV system can benefit the home in many ways. MEV systems quietly remove unwanted pet or kitchen odours, allergens and pollen from your property. As a result asthma and hay fever sufferers can find their symptoms alleviate significantly.
MEV has been proven to reduce condensation and overall humidity throughout, reducing the need to leave windows open (which can compromise household security) to ensure your home remains mould or dust-mite free. All ventilation systems are streamlined and use low energy, and as a result are cost-effective and friendly to the environment.
Our designs are simple and sophisticated, and our specialist installation engineers are able to suggest configurations to suit both commercial and domestic dwellings, to ensure ventilation systems selected are in keeping with your home or design.
